To say I'm pleased with Saavy Dogs would be an understatement. I have had my 1 yr old dachshund for about 10 months and have never been able to walk her UNTIL TODAY!! The change is dramatic and it's so nice to just stroll down the sidewalk with no concerns. Savannah is amazing. The daily text and video updates were essential to get me thru the 2 week training. Seeing all Mabel's progress made missing her worth it. If you haven't had your dog trained at Saavy Dogs-What are you waiting for?! You will not be disappointed!!

Savvy Dogs is one hundred percent a life savor. Rylee Jade Lewis (our pup 1 and a half years old) was without a doubt a hand full. I found Rylee when she was a baby, beaten and malnourished left to die. With one look in those eyes, I had to take her in. She became the queen in my world and leader of the wolf pack. My job entails weekly travel, and my partner has a full-time job resulting in limited time to discipline our Rylee. Rylee in return craved and acted out for the att...ention she would miss. She created habits of jumping on us, as well as, friends, family, and strangers in over-whelming excitement. And if a steak was left on the counter, forget about it. She felt as though the house was a jungle gym, she would walk us on our walks, and dart at any distraction. She minded when she wanted, but she rarely felt the need to. Selective hearing much? We decided to send her to Savvy Dogs. (Savy) was very informative and attentive to Rylees needs and actions. Throughout the two weeks, she would give us updates, good or bad, with videos as well. We loved to see these videos, as you could imagine, we missed her daily. Taking the time to update us since Rylee wasn't the only dog in training amazed us. Once the two weeks were up, Savy asked us to spend time with her and Rylee to "train" the owners. This was crucial. She spent hours making sure we understood everything she taught Rylee, practiced with us at the park in the scorching heat till we could grasp the concept, and let me tell you the change we saw. Initially walking in the door, we would have seen the old Rylee jumping for joy on us. She remained calm in her place, converting that excitement not on us, but rather us loving on her as she laid there. The walks we have now are enjoyed, not a constant game of tug and war. We can take her in public with no worries, which has created more time we have to spend with her! I would recommend everyone to Savvy Dogs!!! Rylee is still the same sweet and loving pup she was before she went. She has just now bloomed into the more mature and socially disciplined pup thanks to (Savy)!!

I brought my black lab Cooper in for some all around training. Cooper has always been a loving and fun dog, he was always rushing to run up to people of all sizes to say hello. Unfortunately, strangers were understandably intimidated by Cooper because of his excitement and behavior. It was also very difficult to take Cooper anywhere with a leash as he pulled people all over the street. After sometime with this training Cooper is doing great! He is the same loving dog but he h...as manners, because of this it is much easier to take him to parks, walks, stores, or even just car rides. Cooper also gets to meet more people because they often comment on how well trained he is. On top of better behavior out of the house, Cooper also has learned that when he is inside then it is time to clam down. This makes it much easier to do everyday tasks and not have to worry about him jumping on the couch or doing other things without permission. I would highly recommend this training to anyone. Cooper and I spend more time together than we have before and I think it has made things much better for the both of us.

We had our dogs stay with Savvy dogs while we were on vacation. Not only were they loved on and treated like family, but they were trained as well!
I dreaded taking my dogs on walks because they pulled me all over the place. Rusty would jump back and forth across the sidewalk and get all tangled in Izzys leash. It was awful! Now they walk very nice and don't pull at all. They even sit when when we stop!
They stay in their beds when told as well. They will stay the entire ti...me we eat a meal, which is great!! We are continuing to work with them on staying in the beds when the doorbell rings. They want to get away with their old behavior, but with the tools we got from Savvy dogs, we are working hard, and they are doing great!
Savanah, was wonderful to work with and continues to answer any questions we have! We will definitely use her again for any boarding or refresher courses we need.
